Jogging is a dynamic leader in the culture of art production. We are a mission-driven blog that aims to set standards of creative and environmental excellence for artists. We are building a community in which high standards permeate all aspects of our production. Quality is an attitude at Jogging.

We emphasize that our vision reaches far beyond just being an average Tumblr. Our success in fulfilling our vision is measured by follower satisfaction, Team Member excellence and happiness, note returns on submissions, improvement in the state of the environment, and local and larger community support.

Our ability to instill a clear sense of interdependence among our various stakeholders (the people who are interested and benefit from the success of our blog) is contingent upon our efforts to communicate more often, more openly, and more compassionately. Better communication equals better understanding and more trust. We see the necessity of active environmental stewardship so that the earth and Tumblrsphere continues to flourish for blog years to come. We seek to balance our needs with the needs of the rest of the planet through the following actions:

  1. Supporting sustainable memetic formats. We are committed to greater production of organically and bio-dynamically produced art in order to reduce redundancy and promote innovation.
  2. Reducing waste and consumption of physical resources. We promote and participate in recycling programs in our communities. We are committed to re-usable imagery, reduced packaging, and water and energy conservation.
  3. Encouraging environmentally sound cleaning and blog maintenance programs.

On Thursday, January 17, 2013 Jogging will ring in the New Year with a celebration of its first Jogging Zero initiative, a public display of our commitment to sustainable production practices through reduction, reuse, and recycling of previous posts. The ‘Zero’ refers to our 24 hour long zero emissions policy, where we will be recycling content to conserve valuable resources for later posts and generations. Please join us by sustainably reblogging your Jogging favorite posts throughout the day.
